Green Fields is Irritec’s program for the reduction of environmental impact, dedicated to the development, production and management of irrigation products throughout their life cycle, with the aim of limiting CO2 emissions in agriculture.

The program includes a support service for the collection of driplines (Irritec or other brands) that have reached the end of the cycle from agricultural fields, promoting their recycling and the use of the secondary raw material among farmers. Green Fields’ plastic recovery project offers the farmer a solution that can relieve him of disposal burdens, allowing him to obtain specific advantages in terms of environmental sustainability.

For Irritec, the analysis of the carbon footprint of its products is essential. Through the Green Fields protocol, Irritec identifies products that represent a technological evolution achieved with reduced CO2 emissions. 
The logo on the right identifies products that meet Green Fields requirements.
The Green Fields protocol includes products made according to the following requirements:
- Recycled raw material content with “Plastic Second Life” certification
- Content of raw material from non-fossil sources
- Reduced carbon footprint according to LCA analysis (less waste and greater energy efficiency in production, lower plastic content, sustainable packaging and/or smaller footprint, efficiency in transport)

How does that work
The Green Fields project thinks of the farmer, giving him a solution capable of relieving him of disposal burdens, allowing him to obtain specific advantages with a view to environmental sustainability.
Joining Green Fields means choosing to dispose of the dripline used (light and/or heavy dripline) respecting the environment and the regulations in force on the subject.
The Irritec team, in collaboration with a widespread network of expert waste management collectors, assists the farmer in all phases of the agricultural project.

The farmer joins through the online form and receives a welcome gadget.

The farmer delivers his dripline at the end of the season to one of the harvesters who carries out the service.

The collector issues the farmer with the FIR (IV copy), a document certifying the collection of the waste. The farmer shall forward a copy of the FIR to Irritec.

The farmer immediately receives a discount voucher calculated on the final quantity indicated in the FIR: the discount will be 30.00 Euros for each ton of product disposed of (in the case of a light dripline), 10.00 Euros per ton (in the case of a heavy dripline).

The farmer receives a “certificate of excellence in sustainable irrigation” from Irritec.

Once the farmer has obtained the Voucher, he can deliver it to the nearest authorized dealer to immediately obtain a discount on the purchase of a new Irritec dripline (all types).

CHOOSE THE NEAREST COLLECTOR
A widespread network of collectors, distributed throughout the country, are at your service to dispose of your dripline at the end of its cycle in the best possible way, according to current legislation.
If you already have a collector of your choice, just join the project and send us a copy of the FIR after disposal, to receive the discount voucher calculated on the final quantity indicated in the waste form that will be issued to you.
If you do not yet have a collector to entrust the service to, you can get in touch with the collection companies that have joined the Green Fields project.Check the list of companies operating in your region and contact the nearest collector to make an appointment for the collection of your agricultural waste.
Fill out the Membership form and the waste will be directly picked up when and where you want.
